The Darkness by Ragnar Jónasson is a Nordic Noir, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This is an incredibly dark novel that touches on many topics, and can also be quite gruesome at points. This is a crime, mystery, thriller adult novel that was suspenseful and atmospheric.
