Hi there! I’m Katie! I’m just a 20 year old college student keeping myself sane by reading books and making weird videos about them. Feel free to subscribe and stick around if it fits your fancy.

predator H2O says:

Whenever I get to judge a movie coming from a book I just forget EVERYTHING about the book. Trust me it will save you lots of frustration and you'll be able to see good things about the movie. Most of all a movie does not in any case have to be a complete copy of a book. Except it would have to be 5 hours long you'd hete it even MORE for not getting most of the details you had pictured in your mind.

Yes I loved the Percy Jackson movies.

Maria C says:

VERY unpopular opinion but I hated City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and thought the movie with Lily Collins was so much better… Clary and Jace were much more likable in the movie 😩

Vernon Roche says:

The Golden Compass movie adaptation was so bad. The only redeeming quality was the CGI, which was, actually pretty good.

Runawayto Sam'sTown says:

Please don't watch Shadowcunters, it's the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. I wanted to shoot myself when I tried watching. I don't think how can ANYONE who's read the book think it has anything good in it.

Jarl Trippin' says:

Worst: The Shining.
Best: The Shining.

ElizaBancroft says:

Ones I hated: Divergent, Percy Jackson, the hunger games, the fault in our stars
Haven't seen: mortal instruments, vampire academy
Ones I liked: Harry Potter, the maze runner (wasn't mentioned but I still loved it)

Lizzie Hastings says:

Adaptation. ADAPTATION. A.D.A.P.T.A.T.I.O.N. Beautiful Creatures was always supposed to be ONE movie. They had to tell 4 books in 1 movie. Indeed, the adaptation is very good. The message is the same, the vibe is the same, the core of the story is the same. All the things that were not put in the movie were useless to this directorial direction!

The Grim Reader says:

When I found out that Artemis Fowl was going to be a movie, my first thought was, "They better not fuck this up…"

Teresa Love says:

Awesome video!!!

Joseph Philips says:

How to Train your Dragon was terrible.

Kruthi .M says:

Dude read Percy Jackson books .coz they are faar far better that the movies

Kayleigh Lemus says:

I liked the Vampire Academy movie for what it was but I agree it was definitely not a great adaptation. They did need to do a second one but I heard they were doing a tv series! I am so upset they didn't include Royals by Lorde somewhere in there because I feel like it was written for that movie AND it feels like Rose could have written it lol

Avery Hilbig says:

1:26, I hate the Divergent movies as well. Especially Allegiant.

Guess my name says:

Hopefully you read the percy jackson series by now….. It is a materpeice

Emily Richard says:

The Host movie was a horrible adaptation of the book, removing all the interesting and intriguing elements of the book.
It turned a story about complex aliens and human psychology into another sappy romance with a bland atmosphere.

BeagleFeatures says:

Paper Towns is an underrated movie

Amber Ly says:

I hated the Beautiful Creatures movie too. While reading the books, I forgot that everything took place in the south, so I was a little surprised to hear the characters' southern accents. XD

Justin Chong says:

Percy Jackson books are Grrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scorpion MI6 says:

My biggest regret is that Vampire Academy didn't get a sequel

Skylar Lane says:

I honestly NEVER say this, but I enjoyed the movie, A Wrinkle in Time, more than the book. 😐
