Love to read the book before the film comes out? I’ve got ya covered. Apologies for the insane light, the weather was not playing ball this weekend!

Where is your accent from?
I was born and raised in the Netherlands, studied English Literature at Leiden University (also in the Netherlands), studied in the US for 3 months and had lots of American friends, hence the weird accent. I’m definitely not Irish or Canadian, I promise!
Where do you live?
I live in London and have been here for 3.5 years now.
Where do you work?
I’m a Social Media Producer at Penguin Random House UK.
How did you get into publishing?
I did publishing work experience on 3 different occasions, did a lot of networking and learned everything I know about social media from creating and running this channel for 7 years. (P.s. You don’t necessarily have to study Publishing or English to get a job in publishing!).
Can you review my book?
I can’t guarantee that I will, but if you’d like to get in touch, please take a look at my review policy on the ‘About’ page of my channel.
What do you use to film?
I have a Canon 60D with a Tokina 11-16 lens (which is super useful if you want to sit close to your camera and still get a wide shot) and I use a window as my natural lighting. I edit my videos in Final Cut X.
If anyone wants to read Everything, Everything , and you don't want to be spoiled. I'd recommend not buying the film tie-in edition, as it's got photos from the film inside the book, which give away key plot points.
KOMT ER EEN FILM VAN HET DINER ??!!
the handmaid's tale was also made in to a film in ( i think ) 1990

TV Show one, American Gods started on Amazon Prime this month and it's amazing! So accurate to the books 🙂
Would like to add one: the BBC is releasing a TV adaptation of His Dark Materials later this year apparently. (I have mixed feelings about this since the film butchered the first book so badly!)
I didn't know The Reader but I really loved it so I'll probably read it before I watch the movie. I love Everything, Everything and I'm really excited about the movie but I do think it's gonna end up being just one more YA adaptation.
I'm most excited about American Gods (TV) and the new season of Outlander (based on Gabaldon's book #3 Voyager which I own but haven't gotten to yet; only read the first two). Also excited about The Handmaid's Tale and bummed about Tulip Fever being pushed back again.
I can't decide whether i should read the books before or after the movies! So far i tried to dead them before, but sometimes i watched a movie that i didnt know that it was also a book 🙁 Any advice?
Hi Sanne, thanks for the video. hug 🙂
Voyager (the third Outlander book by Diana Gabaldon) is coming out as season 3 of Outlander in September! It is literally THE BEST show, you HAVE to read and watch it, they're amazing!!!
I really hope The Handmaid's Tale ends up being shown in the UK! The trailer looks amazing. I've not actually read it yet either – while the premise sounds fascinating (and scary), I've read a few reviews that describe the writing style as a bit 'dry', so I've not felt like trying it just yet. The book is waiting for me on my shelf though!
Another book-to-movie adaptation I'm excited for is The Dark Tower! I'm making my way through the series at the moment and really enjoying it (I just finished book four).
You forgot Fallen by Lauren Kate, pretty sure its coming out in the UK March / April time!
