A spy who wrote fairy tails catch up on hostory that you missed in your history class
Before becoming famous for such books as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “James and the Giant Peach,” Roald Dahl was a British spy in Washington. Dahl joined the Royal Air Force in 1939 and trained as a fighter pilot. In 1942, he was recruited to join a British Spy network. The group was tasked with propaganda and covert activities to persuade a United States in joining world war 2. As an undercover agent, Dahl collected intelligence about the U.S. politics by befriending, politicians, journalists, corporate tycoons, and even first lady Eleanor Roosevelt.
