This video is about the Black Lives Matter movement and is intended only to share resources and further open up the conversation about racism and white privilege. My intention is to help amplify black voices and share some of my favorite BIPOC content creators, speakers, chefs, YouTubers, and artists. I hope you find this video helpful!

Below you find a list of some great accounts to follow, some educational resources, and places to donate but I’d love if you would take a moment to share the creators you’re listening to and learning from in the comments below! Please follow and support these creators listed below. They’ve worked so hard to put amazing content out there and we should support and lift up those voices!

To my Black and BIPOC viewers, I would like to say that I’m sorry that I haven’t done more to speak out about racism in the past and this video details how I am actively working to get better. You deserve better. I stand with you love and solidarity as your ally 🖤

To my white viewers, I’m not here to preach/judge. We’re part of a system that is inherently racist and unjust. We have to learn to see it for what it is so we can rebuild a safer, more inclusive world for all human beings. If we believe in love, compassion, and equality for all, we must do the work. #BlackLivesMatter

NOTE: This video is not monetized and to the best of my knowledge, I am not profiting off of sharing these images. Please follow and support the pages I mentioned in this video, as my intention was to amply their work not my own. I think it’s the least I can do to use this space to highlight and celebrate black voices so that is the purpose of this video. I want this to be a space where we can learn and share and grow together – cheesy as that sounds – because that’s how real change happens. We have to be able to speak about difficult things and my hope is that this video will helpful and give a the BIPOC creators I mentioned in this video the attention they deserve.

I hope this list of resources and candid discussion about Black Lives Matter has been helpful for you guys! Again, I’d love to know which books you recommend, documentaries you’re watching, and BIPOC voices you’re learning from right now, so please comment below.

Sending you all love, and I mean that sincerely. I’m grateful for you and I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. I hope you have a nice rest of your day.

Love,
Nicole
