Season of Storms takes place between two of the short stories contained in The Last Wish anthology. The stories in the collection are not in chronological order though. Season of Storms takes place between the short story also named "The Last Wish", and the short story "A Question of Price".

I read Season of Storms after Lady of the Lake and got along just fine. Someone has also recommended possibly reading it before Lady of the Lake. It's considered a stand-alone book, so whatever you choose, your reading order with SoS probably won't affect your experience of the series too much.
