Kaitlyn Martin says:

I could be wrong, but I think king had a dream on a plane that inspired Misery also, as well as his own feelings of being trapped by his alcoholism and getting stuck writing horror when he wanted to write fantasy.

Ken Masters says:

Stephen King always hated Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining just as much how Ken Kesey hated Miloš Forman’s version of his story One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Teresa R says:

Read Richard Laymon……just better.

Randolph Pinkle says:

I've tried to watch The Shining twice and King's right about the boy. He gets it right, but Jack Nicholson is just a silly ham in that movie. Although how a book with that kind of plot can be 'warm' perplexes me.

Astraios says:

I remember watching her in E.T. in the theaters when it opened. Drew instantly became my first crush.
