This is my review of Ben MacIntyre’s The Spy and the Traitor. This was one of the most intense nonfiction books I’ve read.
I mention I’m not good with Russian names, but what frequently happened in this video is I said “Olievski” instead of Oleg Gordievsky. I’m not even sure if I’m screwing up the spelling of that as a hockey fan or if I mean Oleg Tverdovsky (hockey player from Ukraine). No matter what I say, in this video, if it sounds like a Russian name, and it’s not Gorbachev, I mean Gordievsky.
