A Narrow Path says:

I so want to read this book. I love your book reviews

N332 says:

I just picked this book up from the library. This review was really promising. I’ll let you know what I thought when I finish it 🙂

Tinahgirl83 says:

I really enjoyed this. I read it in two sittings. I'm a huge fan of the Golden Age of Detective fiction, so I really appreciated all the nods to other authors. It had a couple of faults for me, but they in no way ruined the book. I wish he'd write the Atticus Pünd series for real!!!!!

Diana Chen says:

Halfway through Magpie Murders right now and I'm super enjoying it as well, I'm glad to know the ending is still quality. You're totally right about the sinking into it part, the Atticus Pund section reminded me of Desperate Housewives haha

Leah Wilson says:

You had me at Agatha Christie-style. Thanks Rincey🤗

RB B says:

Loving the new podcast Read or Dead. Thanks for putting it on PlayerFM. I picked up and read Perfect Days from your Read or Dead review. Loved it. Oh So Creepy. I also added In The Woods and Magpie Murders just from listening to those episodes. Keep up the good work.

RB B says:

Just bought the audio book and am on chapter 11. So good so far. Only listening in the car to/ from work to make it last.

unmanaged mischief says:

This sounds like the kind of thing I would love to listen to on audio, so I'm going to do that!

Shabbeer Hassan says:

I read it sometime in April this year and yeah like you had a hard time sleeping with half of my book done. Its great especially the book within a book thing plus the mystery it creates isn't bad. Somehow the ending of the book reminded me of the ending dance at the end of movie – zorba the greek and its underlying meaning that its never too late to change. Cheers!

Odin & Green says:

You're review is sooo good! I literally just posted my very first book review on this book! It was super original and fun to read and I also stayed up way too late to finish it! Your channel is awesome!

Samantha Nyarko says:

I can't wait to read it! I have it on hold from the library and am waiting to get it. I love mysteries that are so good they keep me up late. That's how I feel about Tana French's books.

HeyHeyBooks says:

This sounds really awesome! And I love Magpies!

okidokiboki says:

This sounds like so much fun, I love the book-within-a-book premise. I'm excited for when the 60+ people ahead of me on the holds list finish up so I can finally read it!

27eed says:

Great review- so excited for this book! Wish it would come out in paperback already! Have you read anything else by Anthony Horowitz? I absolutely loved his Alex Rider series and Diamond Brothers Series as a child. His kids books tend to have a wit to them that appeals to adults as well as children- my parents were in hysterics listening to the audiobook of 'Granny' read by Nikolas Grace. Anthony Horowitz is my ultimate comfort read!

mizmode says:

I'm definitely going to read this one. Thanks for the review.

Eleanore Thoele says:

I was going to pass on this book, but your review has changed my mind! Also I love your new podcast!

The Reader's Athenaeum says:

Sounds great! I'm always looking for really good crime fiction so I'll add this to my list 🙂

Girl About Library says:

Ooo this book sounds great! I haven't read any Agatha Christie yet- but this book/ story within story is something I've been looking for to complete a reading challenge. Congrats on the podcast!
