Nancy Trevino says:

I like watching your videos 👍🏽👍🏽 I'm curious did you ever give Game of a thrones a try again? I read all 5 books in the series & it took me a few months but OMG they leave so much out of the show!! & I love the show also!!👏🏽🙌🏽 but the books are ❤️👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 too 😁

Eileen L says:

It's okay if you DNF'd a book for being terrible. Don't worry about offending people because you have an opinion.

AmbrosiaKat's Asylum says:

I am like you in that I prefer stand alones. It has to be a super outstanding first book for me to invest in a series.

RebelBelle13 says:

I LOVE your honesty. So refreshing 🙂

Myro F. Gasaraisum says:

i love day after tomorrow, too! i think the thing with tom cruise is that hes so unlikeable bc of his scientology connections, but i find myself loving his movies so often regardless… its confusing, but i tell myself to detach the art from the artist

Jessica Cora says:

Oh nooo. I totally get what you're saying about Game of Thrones but seasons 5 and 6 of the show were sooooooo weak compared to what's in the books! Maybe you could skip the first two books and just dive right into the third? Theon's and Sansa's story lines in particular were completely wrecked by the show. Oh and Jaime's too ugh!

Karjiana Cadet says:

I don't watch True Detective, but that clip is making me consider changing that.

cham says:

omg same with the game of thrones! i binge watched all 6 seasons and decided to read the books later – got stuck after about 100 pages and never picked it up again 🙁

Sophie O. says:

I tried reading Tick Tock by Dean Koontz. Couldn't finish it. I also tried reading From A Buick 8 and Cell both by Stephen King. I couldn't finish either of them. I think that his writing style did change after his accident in 1999 though.

ankith adam says:

till where did you read the book- " the girl who played with fire" ?

Britt _ says:

New to your channel and love it! We have similar taste in books! finally a booktuber that reads adult fiction/horror/mystery 🙂
Would love to see book recommendations!
ps. did you read the girl on the train?

Lauren Fleehearty says:

I struggled thru the first GoT but zoomed thru the next 3 and put down the 5th. I started reading after the 3rd season as well.

Daniel Elford says:

My recent book, which I finished almost out of spite, but which was really bad: Before I Go To Sleep. Why an author thinks it's a good idea to start each chapter recapping everything that's happened previously…..I can't figure.

ON a seperate note, another movie that uses a very similar notion for its narrative to the 'Life After Life', but in a different context: Source Code. A man who has to re-live 8 minutes on a train, unsure as to how it's happening, or indeed why. Very good.

Nicole Foster says:

You should try the book Replay. That had a better time travel/reliving the same days type story than Life After Life.

Kjell says:

What helps me with the A Song of Ice and Fire series is to read parts of the books throughout the year. It helped me with the first book.

Gwyndon says:

Wow I don't know anyone who prefers the show over the book. That's disappointing. You truly are missing out. The show let's me down on a weekly basis.
