Finally bought this movie yesterday
Another intelligent review marred by needless swearing.
Very weak review of a pathetic remake of the far superior original Swedish film. The original had everything you're lauding on this remake and a lot more.
There's not even a mention of the demonising of white men in this film (and its sequels), as well as in the books. The author, Stieg Larsson, was a FANATICAL Leftist and it showed. There's a lot more to say about this film. Most of it's beyond you.
I understand why you're a popular reviewer. You're not a good one. You're not challenging. You're not insightful. You're not even amusing. You're homely – making you not intimidating. You're also pleasant – as far as that goes.

God; I really love this Film the Swedish version & the American version 🤗 an A rating; finally a film worth Owning
This movie sucks
just watched it for the first time…… overrated. bored the shit outta me, just wasn't into it. nothing in it besides the opening credits interested me, too long also. I can sit through 3 hour movies but this… nope. it didn't shock or disturb me, even the rape. sure it was a rough scene but was short so it didn't impact me much. she should have cut his dick off, now that would have been impactful! on more on Jeremy Jahns side in it was ok but way overhyped. it's not the worst movie ever but not Finchers best

It's a modern gothic murder mystery
Fast paced? Only if you had the BluRay on x32 speed!
And you slept through some of it!
And you skipped the opening title sequence!
And skipped chapters!
And enjoyed the movie!

The last dialogue with Craig and the villian has such a Bond vibe to it. Especially Goldfinger!
as a huge fan of the books and tv movies, this was an incredible experience.
I saw that movie it was OK
To this day I can’t hear “sail away” without getting all anxious.
