Me gottum Psychotronic book at a used book store!
Thanks to you it looks like I need to round out my library with your other essential
recommendations!!
I love my old horror movies and watch them on a vhs player hooked up to an old Philco Predicta T.V.
ya know just for the mood and atmosphere! ; )
Cheers!
Michael J. Weldon who wrote Psychotronic owns a used record and movie poster store by my house. He is a super nice guy.
If I could suggest a couple other good books for your collection, BOOK OF THE DEAD by FAB Press is really good. Sleazoid Express, although it's more general about Grindhouse cinema, not just horror.
@Jarashut lol
Good choice!
finally put my greasy mitts on nightmare usa !
Hi mate, cool to see another Aussie right into horror books, the FAB Press books are great of course, maybe the rarest ones I have is the OBSESSION Jess Franco book, the (big but expensive) ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK Bava book is worthwhile. The BLOOD AND BLACK LACE softcover is good too. RIP Chas Balun (passed away late December).
I got Psychotronic as an Xmas present when I was 14-changed my life! The follow up books enormous, excellent too!
Excellent collection you have there, I should do a video showing my book collection, thanks for the inspiration.
Maaaan! Thank you so much for doing this video! I am actually buying a lot of books on movies right now and now I know which books are really recommended and worth buying. I just HAVE to get Nightmare USA!
