Great review. For new inductees, getting their first Handbook is a rite in itself; You've bought the bible, you may as well get the tattoo now, you're a lifer. 😉

Jean-Luc Coelho says:

YOU OPENED YOUR BOOK AT OVER 90º!!!

David Middleton says:

@Singularity There are plenty of class features for every base class and archetype. Out of combat or as it is called, down time has some rules as well for what type of lifestyle that your character chooses to live while not playing the game. 5e is not a combat or mechanical type of combat game like D&D 4e is.

Singularity Network says:

There are no skills?  How do they handle out of combat gaming?  Or is 5E mainly focused on combat?

Future Geek says:

Excellent review, and the book is WORTH every penny! I stopped playing when 4th hit, just wasn't my thing. But, I'm thrilled by what I see, and the play! Thanks again!

Talking About Games says:

Excellent review! Thanks for uploading this.

I wonder if it's really difficult to convert classes, feats, monsters, etc. from Pathfinder and D&D 3.5 into this edition.

Catattafish says:

Good review Dave!
