Love the soundtrack in the 2005 version. I used “Dawn” as the processional song in my wedding!

I hate that in the 2005 adaptation that Keira Knightly sounds like a fishwife when she speaks. Her voice gives me a headache.

The 1940 movie was how I first discovered P & P aged 16 watching midnight movies. Same year I discovered it was based on book! What a crap education I received.

Far superior in my opinion 1995 version Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I doubt there will ever be a version to match this the chemistry between Mr Darcy and Elisabeth. The faithfulness to the novel, it's time period and essence, the humour, the brilliant sarcasm, wit, costumes, scenery, dialect and romance it has everything and more. I love it!
