Here are 7 books (in no particular order) that have changed my perspective on life in some way. There are of course more than these books so perhaps I’ll make a part two.

Books mentioned:

Quiet by Susan Cain
Stoner by John Williams
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

2 of those are on my top list too 🙂 But most of the time we appreciate a book only because it came to us when we most needed it. I definitely love some books that I wouldn´t if I read them only a month later or earlier than I did 🙂

Emily McNort says:

The Untethered Soul by M. Singer

LongStar117 says:

Padre Pio the true story which I read in 2020. My great grandmother knew padre pio in southern italy. He was linked to over a thousand miraculous healings and events in his life and a thousand after. One such event was after my grandfather had his first heart attack around 1980. He woke up in the hospital to find Pio and my great grandmother at the foot of his bed in conversation about him. the two had been dead for many years.

I never liked harold potter although the films were okay. I only read the second book. I like 2001 a space odyssey and the halo series isnt that bad for video game books. Communion by whitley streiber, metro 2033, tolkein, and anything on mythology like greek, norse, hindu, cherokee, bible, etc. Also messages in water, wrote by japanese scientists.

Lana, just before I watched this video I listened to someone share their 6 books that had a great impact on their life. Books, at least for me, have their own spirits. You are able to enter deeply into spirit of the books you shared about Lana. I read Siddhartha when I was in school and it had a profound effect on me. I even carried it around for several weeks. Other people just talk about the books they've read but you seemed to have made close friends with the 7 books that changed your life! Thank you for this wonderful sharing!
